video gallery

I uploaded .flv video in the gallery and when I clicked on the video to play (on the web server), it said that the flv player is not installed. Do I need to install flv player on my web server? If yes then how do I do that because my web hosting is with Godaddy and I have no control over the web server. Thx

You must enabale a media player plugin to play multi-media files. FLV player is a proprietary tool whose licencing agreement does not allow third parties to distribute the code. If you are unable obtain and upload that to your installation then you will have to use the flowplayer plugin.
