Image title after ftp upload

I may be totally missing something here, but when I upload an album via ftp the title for the image is the filename + date + time + size + other information. Is there any way to change this so the title is ONLY the filename?

    Zenphoto uses only the file name as a the title if no title is defined via EXIF metadata or added afterwards. I have no idea why it would add all that suff and it surely never did on any of my test installs. Check if somehow your camera or whatever adds that to the meta data.

    Okay, that may be the problem...there is not a title set in the meta for the photos. Going to make some changes and see if that helps, thank you!

    If there is no title set the filename is used. Zenphoto does this since forever actually and does with the current version as well (you have not told what version you use so I assume the latest).
