1.0.8 turn off comments

Hello everybody,
First thanks to sbillard for his work and to the zenphoto community for this script.

I still have the 1.0.8 version and would like to know if I can TURN OFF comments because I have a lot of SPAMS !! Is there a theme with no comments capability that I can use ? Or a new way to do a upgrad. Thanks a lot.

    Version 1.0.8 is before my time. So, the answer is somewhat complicated. You can remove all the code which deals with comments--both in the theme and in functions-controller.php.

    Probably a better tact would be to upgrade. There is an option for enabling/disabling comments now.
