Which ZP folders to upload after unzipped?

Hi all,

just unzipped the ZP package to my PC. I have uploaded the files IN the ZP folder, not the folder itself.

There is also a separate ZP-CORE folder, and an empty ZP-DATA folder. Do these get uploaded to?

If so, the folders themselves, or just the contents? Do the also go under my public_html directory like the others?

I am running the Simple Scripts program to then go from there. I just can't find the rudimentary step-by-step instructions, so appreciate this.

I also saw mention of having to modify one of the ini files afterwards. I already know where to modify the image/video file size, but other guidance on the vital changes would be greatly appreciated.

All I've ever done in the past are very nice 'local' FP sites that were easily uploaded. Online stuff much more confusing, to me at least!

    Isn't the purpose of install helpers like SimpleScripts that you don't upload yourself anway? Regardless, we don't support install scripts like SimpleScripts at all (as noted on that page). If you have trouble with that you are on your own (respectivly ask SimpleScripts vendor).

    Acrylian, I did see that page afterall, I think it had generated more questions for me. But, regardless, do I upload the ZP_Core folder, or just the files in it

    There are many sql packages to choose from, and that is, in part, why I wanted to use the scipt to build from. I am strictly hosting photos and videos. Which SQL Server should I select to install?

    Any other tips you can give me to get this up? I'll continue looking at what I can, but anything simple you have that I should be aware of would be great.

    As the page says, extract the zip file and upload all of them to your webspace. You can either install Zenphoto in the root or in a subfolder. Regardless upload everything.

    Your provider needs to tell you about the mysql credentials like password and server.
