I am using the lastest version of zpSkeleton - version 1.4.4.3. When I activate this theme, the plugins, Addthis and Gslideshow do not work. However, if I change to any other OSWebcreation's theme - minimal, masonry, gallerific, the Addthis and Gslideshow work perfectly.

One other piece of information that may be helpful in diagnosing the problem, when I change to a new theme from the theme page, after I click activate theme, for every theme other than zpSkeleton, I am returned to the theme page. However, when I activate zpSkeleton, a blank white page is displayed instead of the theme page.

Any help in tracking down the root of this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If you get a blank page there is for sure an php error in your server log somewhere.

You need to activate the core slideshow plugin as well:

Thanks for the quick suggestion. However, that did not work. I just changed themes from zpSkeleton to zpMasonry and back to zpSkeleton. My debug log shows the following errors:

When I check the box next to the slideshow plugin and click apply, I get a black blank screen. The URL for the page is http://www.adxact.com/photos/zp-core/admin-plugins.php?action=saveplugins When I reload the plugin page, the box next to the slideshow is unchecked. So, it does not look like I can enable the core slideshow at this time.

Note that 1.4.3.2 is not the current Zenphoto version, too.

ah yes acrylian - that is probably it, you need to update zenphoto.

or try selecting one of the core themes, then activating the core slideshow plugin, see what happens.

I activated the default theme and still cannot enable the core slideshow. I still get the black screen when I click apply.

I am using the "latest" version of Zenphoto supplied by my hosting service. While I know there are later versions of Zenphoto, I have not found a way to upgrade the installation on my host's server.

Manual installation is not that difficult see our install page. A blank screen should result in an error in the log somehwere.

But in any case you should inform your host that it upgrade the script!

Thanks. I will definitely notify my host and request that they update to the most current version. At the same time, I will look into manually installing the latest version.

Manually updating Zenphoto to the latest version seemed to have solved all of my problems. I really appreciate the quick help and very much appreciate Zenphoto. Thanks!
