I've been wanting a Zenphoto Gallery for a few years now but it's taken me a long time to get familiar with MySQL and things I've never done before on my site and reading this forum. Now I think I'm ready with a little help. My webhost has also been helpful.

The one thing I need to clarify before I install is where to upload the install files so I can get the URL I want when people click the Gallery link.

I would like the url to be http://mysite.com/gallery.

I have a Gallery folder in htdocs where all my site files are.

Do I extract Zenphoto zip and upload all the contents to the Gallery folder to get that url?

Yes, if mysite.com is your existing site you want Zenphoto to co-exist with upload the contents of the extracted archive to the folder /gallery.

Thanks Acrylian. That was the last nagging question that kept coming up but I wasn't ready yet to install.

My current site is just a hobby and is static html so I had to learn about databases from the beginning and how to use it. And real life got in the way and I kept having to put it aside.
