I have been using Zenphoto for some time and everything was dandy. Then suddenly around 4 weeks ago I keep getting Error say that I should run setup.
This probably sines my vendor upgrade database.
how to rerun setup? i Install zenphoto from auto scrip and don have the install code.

Please help.

Zenphoto has detected a change in your installation.

I read, the text does not explain himself and frustration only grows.
from Admin > Overview > Utility functions
I run Refresh Database but its run in a loop and never ending.

I run Setup >> restore script

from Admin > Overview > Utility functions
I run Setup > Restore site_upgrade files

now no thumbs or photo priview.

Maybe I made a mistake and ZENPhoto is overkill for a nice and simple for family photo album?

No, Zenphoto is fine for a family photo album (although it of course can do much more). I have modified the article a bit and added two images that hopefully help a bit:

well, my problem is after pressing setup >> restore Scripts
I get the message "Setup files restored."
but the new button dose not appear and only "setup >> restore Scripts"

Maybe you are not on the latest Zenphoto 1.4.6. Some of these 1-click-providers or hosts using them have sometimes older versions. But regardless then just enter the url to run setup as mentioned as well.

my Zenphoto version 1.4.6 [bbddab7675] (Official build)
when i run the script /photos/zp-core/setup/
I get the error:
Photo Albums | Object not found
Zenphoto Error: the requested object was not found.
Album: zp-core/setup

Then the files are probably still protected. Please review error logs and/or look via FTP into that folder if there are .php files. If not rename the suffix to that manually. (Ask your host about FTP if you don't know).

Please note this also may be an issue with your 1-click installer. These regulary did often things they shouldn't in the past. Maybe it deleted the files which it should not on 1.4.6 but on earlier versions.

[Solved]
I tried to reinstall ZenPhoto via vendor installation and the same results.
I download the files extracted them on server and started a new installation.
well now it's work fine (as described in manual).

The rezone I stick to ZebPhoto is your help(acrylian and fretzl)
I felt that I have backup with you .

Thanks! Best inform your vendor to update their install scripts to avoid that others there run into the same issues.
