This is an excellent theme - responsive and attractive. I have four Zenphoto image databases using this theme but I now need to update them to PHP 8 and ZenPhoto 1.6

I have checked - if Zenphoto 1.6 is installed on a php 7.4 site then ZpBase 1.3 works just fine.
If Zenphoto 1.6 is installed on a php 8 site it immediately encounters problems.

I am have little experience of PHP (apart from tweaking the ZpBase theme) but thought I would like to see if I can find out where the problem lies but I cannot see how to enable php error/warning reporting in Zenphoto - debug shows nothing.

My webserver uses CPanel and I administer the websites using that. I have enabled php reporting but there is nothing referring to the zenphoto website.

I am confused a bit as you reference https://forum.zenphoto.org/discussion/1411022/zpbase-1-2-theme-error but say there is nothing in the debug log? What problems do occur then?

We have generally updated zpBase 1.3 with/for PHP 8.1 and ZPCMS 1.6. As you can try on https://demo.zenphoto.org/ that it does work. It does complain about some options not set but there are no errors as well.

OK - thank you - I went back and had another look.
Then, in ZpBase options I set it back to default and it now works as it should. I don't know what option setting had upset it, but on the initial page the albums were not showing up. After reset they are!
