I was reading there's some bug fixes in the nightly builds, but also that they might have new bugs. What do I have to do to install a nightly build, and what does it involve going backwards in case of a new bug?

Is it easy to install a nightly build and roll back? I'd be happy to report bugs, but I'm not a developer. Or am I just better off with the official release?

Thanks for your advice.

Good questions -- the nightly builds are cutting-edge code, so whatever was done that day gets into a Zenphoto package that night.

To install them, follow exactly the same steps as a normal Zenphoto installation, but download the nightly .zip instead.

It's probably best to use the official release if you're not sure, but if you know of a specific bug you're waiting to get fixed, then I'd download the nightly to see if it's fixed. Nightly builds may be unstable or have bugs as you can guess, but overall they will probably work fairly well.

Up to you! Good luck.

OK. Thanks. I'm about to upgrade my 1.1.2 installation and I wanted to pick the best option. I'll stick with the official release.
