I have set it to show sub albums by title name.. which should make it in abc order right? Well it doesn't change the display order no matter what setting I put it on. It always stays how the same.. >_<

It looks very much like you have checked the "descending" box so that the order is reverse alphabetic.

No, like I said no matter the setting it doesn't change. I select or unselect decending and click save and when it reloads it is unselected.

You have not said which version of zenphoto you are running. Options not saving are usually the result of a mismatch in the options database. If you have not upgraded to version 1.1.5, please try it.

I just installed this gallery after just downloading the latest release.
So everything is up to date.

I have found a bug in the display of the sort direction. Please download the nightly build for 3/3 and try it. It will display the correct sort direction. I believe that you will find that yours is set to descending.

Still doesn't fix it. No matter what setting I select in admin, when I click save and it reloads its back to the settings from before. It's not saving the settings apparently.

Even when I manually sort them and click save, it reverts back to the same settings.. :/

Something then is wrong with updating your database. Are other options getting saved when you change them?

Other options are getting saved, yes. But it's just this one particular category (anime) that isn't saving for some reason.

Have you looked at the database itself? Perhaps you can modify the field there.
