Dear sir,

My photogallery is a quiet big photo gallery with more than 400 categories and above 16000 images. I feel the admin panel options are very very very very very slow after the upgrade of latest version. To edit each and every album or image, it takes around 15 minutes of time. My site is running on a dedicated server with the below configuration:

xeon dualcore 1.8
ram 2gb
harddisk 160 gb
100 mbps connection

Please help me to fix the issue.

This is definitely not normal... does it just happen during editing? Or also during browsing?

What is the URL of your zenphoto install? Also, if we could have temporary admin access that would be helpful if that's where the problem is. You can e-mail me at trisweb at gmail (dot com) if you don't want to share it publicly.

and I think the tag selection may also cause some problem.

Thank you, I am seeing the same issue you have described. I won't make any changes.

Not seeing what the problem could be at this point... what server (software) and PHP version are you running? Also, do you have ssh access so you could possibly see what process is running or what the server load is while this slowness happens?

But 24 hours, admin panel options are slow. i really dont know whatz happening. Before upgrade it was better. but now its worser. please help me to fix the issue.

For the time being, can you downgrade to 1.1.5? That might be the best solution for now unfortunately...

Also, could you please answer my question about what server software (Apache, etc.) version and PHP version you are running? Thanks.

Could you please answer our questions first? Which Apache version, which PHP version and which MySQL version. If this is indeed a bug in zenphoto and not on your server environment we need to figure that out. Downgrade would be a workaround. Thanks.

Just reload the version you were running before the upgrade. Also, there is no need to add extra threads for this question.
