I have just installed 1.2 and when I try to change the Gallery Title / Description / Wesite title after pressing save it saves fine but all fields keep coming back blank.

Also even when I choose a theme to use the default is still in use when viewing the gallery..

There wasn't any reference to chmodding any files so I'm not sure where this problem lies..?

It doesn't save the title or description of the Albums either..

If I edit the titles of albums on the fly it saves, if I then go into the Admin panel and add an Album description after saving it removes the info and the title that was previously added.

Check your installation's zp-core/locales folder. You are probably missing the en_US locale.

hmm that's exactly it.. how bizarre. I have:

de_DE Directory 4096 munki pg488867 rwxr-xr-x Aug 29 00:30
es_LA Directory 4096 munki pg488867 rwxr-xr-x Aug 29 00:30
fr_FR Directory 4096 munki pg488867 rwxr-xr-x Aug 29 00:30
nl_NL Directory 4096 munki pg488867 rwxr-xr-x Aug 29 00:30
zh_TW Directory 4096 munki pg488867 rwxr-xr-x Aug 29 00:30

It seems my FTP client ignores empty folders, so it was never copied over, I've had this with a couple of installs where folders are not created because they are empty, wouldn't it be an idea just to include a 1 byte .content file to avoid this..?

Even using my hosting services upload function and sending a zip to unpack the locale dir did not create the dir.

Thanks for the response : Problem solved

If there is no save button there probably was a script error. Please check your error logs to see if anything is reported.

I ran into this problem as well I saw it when I had the Charset set to certain value..

I changed it to UTF-8 and it did the trick.

There still seems to be problems with the charset setting in Zenphoto.

Hmmm....first of all I don't know where I can find any error-logs. Anyway I tried to change to UTF-8 in the config but nothing happened to my problem.

Further description of my problem is: When I'm in the options-tab there is a "save button" but when I'm in the edit-tab and I want to change an albums title there is no button and I can't save changes.

thanks for help

Ask your service provider how to review your error logs. An error is just about the only way that the button would not show up.

I'm having the same problems. I do not have the en_US locale file. I've tried downloading the Zenphoto file from your site a couple times but it doesn't show up. From where and how do I get the en_US locale file?

All you need is an empty en_US folder in the locales folders. You can create that with FTP. The zenphoto distribution has the folder, so I gather the process you used to upload the zenphoto files did not copy empty folders.

You must be getting an error. The page is not completely rendered. Can you post a link to your WEB site?

I tried to get along with the nightly build version like you said, but it still does not work.

Well, you will have to find the error message for whatever error is causing the page to not render. Sorry, but without this information we cannot figure out what is wrong.
