Hi there. I just started using/exploring ZenPhoto, and it looks like it comes very close to what I need for my photo-collection.
But I have a question and I'm not sure if this is already possible

What I want to do is the following:
0. I have a few albums with a few hundred photo's

1. I want to make a selection of some pictures, and share only these. (A link to this selection will be send to my client.)
2. easiest way would probably be (I think) to create a new album, copy the selected photo's to it and password-protect that album, so only my clients can view them

Now my question is:

• Would that be the easiest way of doing something like that or are there other options?
• is using the same photo in different albums possible at all?
• is creating copies of the same photos (hard-links) possible within the web-interface?
• if this needs to be coded, then I could probably help out, but can't do it alone. Someone here interested in helping to develop something like this?

Certainly copying the selected images to a separate album will work. However, you might prefer to use the dynamic album feature. You somehow identify the picturs you want to collect together. The simplest way it to give them a common unique tag.

Then perform a search of the criteria you selected. This will return you a page with the images that match the search. On that page (assuming you are logged in) is an admin toolbox link and clicking on that link will reveal a create album link. Click that and you will be able to make an album out of your search.
