Is there a way to sort images in ablum by votes or rating? I would really like that..

The next release of zenphoto will provide a custom sort that lets you sort by any field in the database. (This is available for preview in the nightly builds.) There is not exactly a field for the rating but there is a total_value field. That might be close enough.

You need to look at the backend options. There you can set that manually for any db field, total_value is a db field.

Before I switched to the nightly build I had a image.php file. See this thread : http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=4812

I added a hit counter. Now with the nightly build I have no hit counter and no image.php file to edit.

I do like the statistics page and I suppose this would suffice..

My main concern right now is the sorting..

Every theme should have an image.php script. Something has gone wrong with your install somehow.

And it should be located:
/zenphoto/image.php correct?

No, it would be in the theme folder--say default/image.php It has never been placed in the root folder.

You can look at the zenphoto.packate file for a list of files.
