Hi all

The Slideshow plugin is broken for me.

I'm using slideshow v1.0.6.6 and zenphoto version 1.2.3.

I know there were some problems a couple of versions ago, but I thought they were fixed.

I click the link and nothing happens. The address bar just says http://cheyne.net/photos/2009-03/page/slideshow.

How can I get you more debug info?

Judging from a look at the gallery the slideshow plugin is not enabled.

YOu might also want to disable the static cache plugin.

I just enabled the slideshow plugin again (d'oh!) and disabled the static cache plugin, but it still does not work.

I checked another theme and the slideshow still did not work.

I also made sure the permissions are set to 0644 files/0755 directories.

I installed and have been upgrading with Simplescripts. Could this be a factor?

Yes, simplescripts may be the problem. We have had problems with installs made by these third party scripts. Unfortunately, since we have no idea what they are doing we cannot be of much help.

As to the permissions--your new setting is the preferred. You might want to try the current nightly build where the setup program will allow you to make those the Zenphoto defaults. (Of course, then you will have to use our install procedures.)

OK that's fair enough. Maybe I'll reinstall manually.

I have to thank Simplescripts though, as without them I would never have found this [b]outstanding[/b] software.
