That plugin, of course, does not do what you want. However, you could modify it to do so.

Generally, yes. You replace the link to the album with one to the image. Specifically, no, you will have to do that research/development yourself. Please review the function guides on our website.

Yes, indeed. I suggest you make a copy under a different name to avoid conflict with future zenphoto updates.

it seems like the same issue has been discussed already a while ago here - http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=2834 - acrylian (developer) has provided a hacked version here - http://www.zenphoto.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/print_album_menu-1st-image.zip - however it does not work for me. can this be because of different zenphoto versions?

Yes, that might be the case. The internals of the plugin have been heavily reworked and optimized since then.

i tried to follow your instructions but couldnt even find the lines i was supossed to change in the current printalbummenu plugin. is there any other way to skip albums.php without hacking the plugin? thx

Well, as said the plugin's internals have been reworked heavily since then. Skipping album.php is not the standard way Zenphoto works but it is possible (basically everything is in general) but not without modifying the plugin.

You may of course open a feature request this to be an option but of course we can't promise when that might be added so that might no help you if you need it right now.
