HEY :) - I've taken a liking to this theme and really do think it will work well for me.

I want to be able to add my title/description below the Album Thumbnail and not have the description embedded into the image itself once hovered across.....

Here is an image of the theme and a download link also (really clean .CSS i must add :)

http://www.zenphoto.org/zp/theme/joshuaink/index.png.php

And here is how i would like to place the text below the image (notice how the title of the albulm in underneath the image)

Please help if you can :)

Best you read it all to get familiar with Zenphoto theme structure in general. CSS is of course not explained there.

I've read through it all - so there's no simple way of doing what i require?

It is simple...The functions for the album title and descriptions are printAlbumTitle() and printAlbumDesc() add those within the next_album loop where you want them to be displayed.

Thanks :), one last question, which theme will i have to edit in order to do this? - Will it be the index.php? or the style.css??

You really need to learn some basics about web techniques....CSS is for styling only, but you will have to edit that as well as the theme is not setup for what you want.

If you have read the tutorial you would know that there is generally a next_album loop on index.php and album.php (don't know this theme in detail). So you have to edit those as well.

Thanks would you be able to point me in the right direction if i was to provide you with the code?

if you were to download and add the Joshuaink theme to your Zenphoto themes you could probably work it out right away (im useless at scripting but have been reading up on it for the past few days trying to fix this problem of mine)...

This is the only tweak i need to do to the theme to finalize it and get my website live...

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Thanks

I am sure that with a little perserverence you will figure this out. Do you really expect someone else to do your work for you? Did you notice that it says "unsupported theme" by the link of joshuaink? That means we don't modify it!
