My images are still in all the right directories, but it seems as though my images table in the database has been completely emptied!!

In the control panel, all the albums show up alright, but not the images. Is there a way to have Zenphoto rescan my directories for the images, or do i have to recreate everything from scratch?

I dont really have any comments or ratings on the images, so that doesnt matter.

Zenphoto always scans the folders when you view an abum. Or you can use the "pre-cache" buttons.

Thanks for the reply. Doesnt work though. It just says that there are no images in the album...

I've checked the DB tables and they all seem fine. Only the images table was emptied.

Anything else i should look for?

Is there a way that i can manually trigger Zenphoto into scanning the folders? Page refreshes dont seem to work. The albums just show up as having no images.

Use the zenphoto refresh database button. But I think you must have some other problem, because if there are actually images in the album folder Zenphoto will find them. This is the way it always works. It finds the images then checks the database to find the metadata about the image. If there is no DB entry it is created.

So, if no images are showing up then Zenphoto is not able to see them. Perhaps it is prohibited from scanning the folder by some kind of security restraing.

I've just tried the Refresh Database function, but it didnt pick up the images.

I've set permissions to read/write to everyone on the images and the folders, so i cant think of anything else that might be blocking Zenphoto from accessing them...

If i rename the 'albums' folder located in the zenphoto folder, i get an error message saying it is missing the folder. Clearly, this means that i'm looking at the right folder.

What else could i be missing? I havent done anything to my server in weeks!

It would be the folder containing the image. Not the Zenphoto "albums" folder itself. If you have images directly in the `albums` folder they will not be found as images must first be in an album [folder]

My photos are all in seperate folders which are located within the 'albums' folder. This has worked for the past year without issue. I've regularly added new folders with new images and Zenphoto just picked them up right away.
