I'm loving the look of ZenPhoto and can't wait to try it out, but I've been having a lot of trouble installing it! I'm sure there's something simple I'm doing wrong, but I can't figure it out.

When I try to install, this is the error I get:

"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare generatelistfromarray() (previously declared in /home/teresawa/public_html/zenphoto/zp-core/setup-primitive.php:156) in /home/teresawa/public_html/zenphoto/zp-core/functions.php on line 1347"

I've tried installing using both the latest nightly build and the latest stable version, and both seem to be giving the same error.

I assume that is 1.2.8, so probably something went wrong wit the upload. Also there are some other warnings you should take care of.

YOu should probably fix the permissions issues and see if the problem still pervails. Specially the zp-data folder. If Zenphoto cannot read from that folder it can get terribly confused as to what it is doing.

I've set the permissions of these folders to 777 manually - is that not enough for it to work? If not, how can I allow zenphoto to change permissions automatically?

I have deleted and uploaded the files about 4 times now... are there any files in particular that would cause this issue if not uploaded properly?

Most likely Zenphoto is not able to write to your zp-config.php file.

Phew! That seemed + updating the zp-config file to the one in the most recent nightly build seems to have done it. Thanks for your help.
