I'm wondering whether it would be possible to localize tags in a way that the visitor sees only the tags in his own language.
So far I enter tags in German and English, but that's suboptimal. Some tags are more or less the same in both languages, others are completely different. Both seems to irritate people.
Any ideas?

I have a question about tags that are uploaded along with images.
First of all I am using an installation of Zenphoto 1.2.6 4335 (official build). Also, I use Picasa 3.0 to manage my images. There is a function on Picasa to add tags and captions to images. When I upload image files to this version of Zenphoto the tag "links" and the captions work just fine.
I have just discovered that when I upload images the same way to my 1.2.8 4881 (official build) installation the "links" for the tags do not return any results. The name of the tag shows up on the page as a link and also in the tag list in the admin.
If I manually add a tag in the admin it will work. I didn't realize until today that this was not working because the links were there and I just hadn't checked them.
Were there some changes between the two versions that eliminated the ability to upload the tags with Picasa and other programs?

I don't understand the question about the "tag links" not being there actually. Also I don't know Picasa, but any standard EXIF/IPTC metadata should work. Anyway, the current version is 1.2.9 and as stated we can't support older releases. So please upgrade.
