Wow! I'm completely new to Zenphoto & already experienced a very unfriendly outcome.
I downloaded the Zenphoto zip file & unpacked it. I uploaded all the resulting files to my web directory via FTP. I downloaded MySQL & created a data base.
I then "navigated" to my gallery, as per step 4 of the Zenphoto installation instructions.
Then I got:
Welcome to Zenphoto, etc.
BUT, the install was not successful. I got 6 WARNINGS in boxes, as well as 6 ERRORS.
This is a most unfriendly outcome for a novice, & quite frankly the instructions on how to fix each of these problems are totally cryptic to me.
Now what?

The warnings setup gave itself you can ignore if you don't plan to use what they describe. The others like `Warning: fopen(/home/sites/consphotos.com/public_html/zp-data/setup_log.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/sites/consphotos.com/public_html/zp-core/setup.php on line 54` are file and folder permissions errors which directly cause the setup errors below.

BTW, you will note that these problems were not caused by Zenphoto but by your server. Sorry if you think it is "unfriendly" for Zenphoto to tell you about why it is unable to run in your environment.
From your description of your installation process it would seem you are setting up your server your self. If that is so, then you either are not a novice or should not be attempting this complex a process.

It will not let me continue (there is no "Go" link). I've checked that all these files ARE listed. I've even resent them, still get the same warning. What do I do now?

If you first removed the existing zenphoto files (see the install documentation) then your FTP must take considerable time or it did not upload those files. Setup checks the timestamp of the files for consistency. Yours seem not to be all uploaded at the same time.

Je kunt het bestand vinden in de "zp-core" map.
Problem with zenphoto.cfg. Set-up couldn't find this and I had to make some changes by hand (filled in database-user etc)
I have to copy this zenphoto.cjg in de zp-data map. Where can I find this??? Do I overlook something??
Please like an answer from somebody!
