Hi all,
I have just installed zenphoto, but I cant make it to show the uploaded pics.
I installed it at www.automodelsevermar.com.ar/zenphoto and www.severmar.com.ar/zenphoto

Is it something related to the hosting site?

Thanks!

Hi all,

I have just installed zenphoto to www.automodelsevermar.com.ar/zenphoto and www.severmar.com.ar/zenphoto and I can't make it to show the photos I uploaded.
I tried applying a theme, and I also tried to install it from scratch, but I cant figure it out. Would this be something related to the hosting site I choosed? it is Byethost.com.

The permissions are not set correctly or not correct for your server. Please review the troubleshooting.

When trying to access your site's image processor directly, your host returned a 403 Forbidden error. I would assume that that's your problem. Likely it's a permissions problem. You may need to contact your host to figure out the recommended permissions for your server if you can't figure it out on your own.

Edit: acrylian beat me to it.

Most likely the cache folder is the cause.

I suggest to rerun setup and tell us what it reports.

Of course,

  1. it warns about magic_quotes_gpc being enabled.
  2. it warns about mbstring package being configured as ISO-8859-1.
  3. File/Folder Permissions are set to "strict"

I already pressed Go, and it successfully finished, but it happens the same.
you may execute it as well, it is ok if it breaks, or even if the pictures get deleted. I am only testing yet.

Thanks for your prompt replies!

There may be some error messages in your CGI error log that would tell us what is happening. Please find that log. (Ask your provider if you do not know where to find it.) Report back what errors are in the log.

Of course we cannot run setup on your site--only the adminstrator can do that once the site is set up.

After some more investigation on your site I think you will need to consult with your provider on this. We should be able to access the link: http://www.severmar.com.ar/zenphoto/zp-core/i.php?a=buggy&i=buggy1.jpg&w=480&cw=&ch=&q=85&debug to view your image and get some further information from Zenphoto. Instead we are redirected to http://ifastnet.com/notify/2.php. (BTW, Internet Explorer's WOT plugin warns this site is not trustworthy!)

Anyway, it is this inability to access the image processor that is causing your site to fail. It may be a permissions issue, but you have done the normal things to correct those. So, give your provider the link above to i.php and ask him why no image comes back.
