I'm just new and just saw the features list.
One question:

Is it possible to upload photo's by guests? And that i can approve them before it is visible in the gallery?

(I mean by guests: no registered users)
For example: a visitor clicks on the button upload, and can upload a photo?

I think acrylian did not really understand your question. No, uploading requires user permissions to the upload admin page, so there is no anonomous access.

I am not really sure why you would want to lay your site open to the hacks people could do to you with un-gated access, but if you really want to do this, setup an "unpublished, protected" album . (Or leave the album published, but set the default for albums and images images to be unpublished.) Create an anonomous FTP account that allows write only access to this album folder.

Then your anonomous guests can FTP files and folders to with that account until your server chokes with too much traffic or your disk is filled to the brim. You can view this folder and publish/move images you want to approve.
