Just a suggestion

Is it possible to get Zenphoto Google Gears enabled? Not sure what it really involves but I find the applications I do use (.e.g. Joomla and Wordpress) are far quicker to work with with Google Gears support...

While zenphoto/page works well I do find at times the admin a tad slow

Cheers

Well, maybe get a faster server..;-) Seriously, never heard of it and a quick look does not really tell me that much about how that works. It seems it is a browser plugin and also requires the server and/or site to be setup somehow specifially so it can somehow work offline as well. Not sure how that shall work with the albums folder especially.

If this can be done as a plugin you are welcome to start one..;-)

LOL, faster server

No issue, it was just a suggestion.... I have now reverted totally to html source in place of using tinymce and the zentinymce plugin as it is too slow for me... better this way anyway

re me make a plugin in for it.... bigger LOL

LOL to the LOLs..;-) I did understand it right though. Regarding TinyMCE I suggest to make a custom configuration and throw out all plugins/buttons you don't need (and maybe on fields you don't need it). That speeds up. There are also some caching things avaiable for TinyMCE on its website. I once tried it and it did not work but maybe we should take another look at that.

Alternatively you could also use any other editor (you would loose the easy image inclusion tool tinyZenpage and the file manager then though).

Under the circumstances, I think we will not persue this.
