If I go into the sitemap page from Overview and click the "Generate Sitemaps" (using default options from plugin) all that happens is the browser window turns white and nothing happens.

Exactly the same thing happens if I use the http://site_name.com/sitemap.php

I've checked permissions on sitemap directory and it's wide open.

Can not find any kind of error message in logs.

I did manage to get this working. I had to disable static_html_cache v1.4.1 , then generate the sitemaps did work.

I now turned back on static_html_cache and it seems to be working ok, BUT I am not seeing any static_html_cache files being generated. I whizzed through the site into a few albums and not one file has been generated in the static cache directories.

The sitemap changed behaviour. It needs now to be called by www.yourdomain.com/index.php?sitemap They can only be created via the sitemap tools button on the overview page on the backend now (this is because of performances optimisation for bigger sites). The static_html_cache is not involved in this at all.

We will soon update the functions documentation but for now see the comments in the plugin file itself.

However, can I re-generate only specific album instead of whole album for performance? Nice it can support auto ping to Google / Yahoo and Bing after complete generation.

No, it is not possible to generate sitemaps only for specific albums.

It does not support auto ping to search engines actually. We suggest to add the link of the sitemapindex file to your robot.txt so they get it if they crawl anyway.
